He is the Managing Director and Majority Owner of Tourasia, a tour operator specializing in Asia and a «17- time» awardee of Swiss Travel Award, an Oscar of the travel industry, for being the best travel organizer for Asia. He is also the CEO and Majority Owner of Diethelm Travel Group, the largest inbound tour operator in Asia with 65 strong years of destination management experience. It has 13 licensed and insured offices in Asia including the Philippines. He has been travelling in the country since 1982 to look for the best beach property to develop and in 2012, he found the proposed land in Bantayan Island.
