ABEL C. MONTEJO

Atty. Montejo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (BS) from the University of San Carlos, Cebu, and was a Dean’s Lister during his undergraduate years. He then completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence / law studies at Silliman University last 2016, and was ranked as among the top graduates of his batch.

As a law student, he was the first law undergraduate in Silliman to work for Oxford University Press as Philippine Rapporteur for International Law in Domestic Courts, a job that is only for lawyers. He has also authored and published Reports in International Law and published an academic article on Online Privacy in 2014. He was a full scholar of the Uytengsu-Wentworth Scholarship Program and at the same time a paralegal volunteer for the esteemed Salonga Center for Law and Development in Dumaguete City.

As a legal professional, he worked as Court Attorney IV in the Court of Appeals – Visayas Station, before he went to private practice. He currently holds active practice in the areas of Corporate Law, Civil Law, Labor Law, Construction Law, Criminal Law, I.T. Law, and Environmental Law.
